On the occasion of the Calgary Mountain Club’s 65th anniversary, Laurie Skreslet and i were honoured with lifetime memberships. As teenagers, we had joined the CMC within months of each other, 55 years ago.
Many thanks to Chic Scott for the nomination, and to all the CMCers who have inspired my footloose lifestyle. Especially the dirtbag working class Brits, who, by example, taught me how to live high and wild as i travelled around the world for 3 decades on a paltry freelance photographer’s income. 🥰
