Mt Pinto Ski Traverse

I had been scoping the inviting upper slopes of Pinto Mountain from our window in Lower Wilmer these past couple springs, and it turns out that Kirk Mauthner has been doing the same from his window in Upper Wilmer.

For a special Easter treat, we set out with his daughter Micaela, her cousins Fiona and Jenna, and uncle Ian on a trés cool traverse of the peak via the south ridge. Probably the toughest part of the day was shovelling out our stuck trucks on the logging road approach.

Thanks to Pinto Ski Team, especially the teen contingent, for making this such a Hoppy Easter 🙂
